John Deere has beefed up its heavy equipment lineup in a big way, with reliable product support from the design phase all the way through to the ReLife stage. Which makes us a powerful option in the production-class category.
One of the ways Deere Does Big is by providing the parts you need when you need them to keep your heavy equipment producing day in and day out. To prove it, we’ve introduced the Big Parts Promise.
Ideas for our production-class machines come from many places, including our Customer Advocate Group process. This is how Deere does big.
When you need heavy equipment, you need the strength of John Deere Financial, with programs and expertise dedicated to your production-class needs. And a finance team that gets in the trenches to learn about your entire operation — not just your credit score.
John Deere dealers know what it takes to support production-class machines. Each is armed with advanced machine monitoring, remote diagnostic capability, and world-class parts availability.
When the hours start to run out on your production-class machine's powertrain, choose the John Deere Powertrain ReLife Plus program to give it new life. The powertrain components even come with a warranty to give you peace of mind.

John Deere Customer Advocate Groups (CAGs) are based on a simple idea: Nobody knows what's needed in production-class machines better than the operators and fleet managers working in the field.
Typically, machine development takes 3 to 5 years. We start with a brainstorm meeting, where CAG members share ideas. Often, we follow up with one-on-one phone calls for deeper input. Then we share virtual-reality concepts to gauge CAG reactions and start perfecting designs.
Eventually, we unveil our first pass at hard iron, which CAG members can operate and critique. And if the CAG isn't happy with the results, we start over. That's how much we value your input.

As a site prep specialist and owner of an excavating company, Kurt knows better than anyone that Articulated Dump Trucks, literally and figuratively, carry the weight of a business such as his. So it comes as no surprise that he dedicated three years to ensuring we got everything right when building our biggest ADT ever. His input helped drive the design of the suspension, auto-diff lock and intelligent weight control feature.

What keeps Tim up at night is how to keep his machines up on the job. In his words, "It's all about serviceability." Insights from Tim led to consolidated, easy-fill, easy-access service ports that minimize both downtime and the frustrations of service techs. As Tim puts its, "I'm glad we spent so much time thinking through the design of the 460E, because now me and my guys don't have to think about it on the job."

Hang out with Dave Rock for five minutes and it's obvious the guy is a straight shooter who tells it like it is. He's blunt. He's direct. And he's exactly the kind of customer we needed to make sure the 1050K was ready for the big-time. Four years, hundreds of improvements, and countless conversations later, the 1050K and our dealer network delivers everything Dave wanted, or more aptly stated, everything he demanded.

If you want to talk commitment, talk about Art. He may hold the record for the longest time spent on a CAG as we worked together to perfect the 944K over 9 years. Not only is it our biggest loader, it makes use of innovative hybrid drivetrain technology. Art made sure every aspect of it was where it needed to be before it hit the market. "I feel like a proud father. It means a lot to help the 944K become the machine it is today."

When a guy who's been around front end loaders for 40 years talks, you listen. And that's exactly what we did. It wasn't always easy though, especially during one meeting when Larry and his fellow CAG members told us we needed to go back to the drawing board. It turned out to be the best advice we could get. Larry sums up the experience perfectly, "That machine will put in years and years of hard work on the job cause we put in so much hard work in the design process. All of us on the CAG can proudly look at that machine and say, 'that was my idea.'"
